This year was a tough one, even for the best-prepared. You saw how it went down for the Braun bros. Heck, John Gorilla dropped out and got a ride just seven miles from where I found you. So don't get down on yourself my friend. You rode a valiant race and it just wasn't in the cards this year.

As the old TV commercial said, "sometimes ya' feel like a nut, sometimes you don't." And when it comes to endurance bicycle racing, I think you can safely say that's true.

Good show, old chap. Like Cornbread said above, next year, it'll all work out. And hopefully I'll be there with ya'.

Cheers,
MGMGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14301752250721808758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-778476500559933270.post-37225728554886816542012-05-03T08:56:10.892-05:002012-05-03T08:56:10.892-05:00Dude, you inspired me before this race and still d...Dude, you inspired me before this race and still do. My will was broken once too on the Afton Alps two years ago, and your example helped get me back at it. I hope to see you a few times this summer. You'll be back tougher than ever.
Schotzthunderdown12https://www.blogger.com/profile/15046981657355128178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-778476500559933270.post-74576450242250623792012-05-01T17:19:36.580-05:002012-05-01T17:19:36.580-05:00Charlie,
